Ukrainian low-cost airline SkyUp has added another route to its growing domestic portfolio with the launch of regular Kharkiv-Kyiv flights on 25 October.
Flights will initially take place three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with plans in place to expand to a daily service in 2020.
This latest addition follows the recent launch of SkyUp flights between Kyiv and Lviv, and reflects the growing focus on domestic flights as Ukraine’s air travel industry continues to expand.
The vast majority of domestic services are currently connections between regional capitals and Kyiv. Of the 156 weekly internal flights scheduled during winter 2019, 154 fly to or from the Ukrainian capital.
