Lviv to get Hilton Hotel after city officials confirm sale of municipal park land plot
The arrival of a Hilton Hotel will boost Lviv's status as Ukraine's tourism industry capital

Lviv’s reputation as Ukraine’s unofficial tourism capital has received another boost with news that the city will soon welcome its first Hilton Hotel.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadoviy confirmed that the future hotel would be located in Lviv’s Bohdan Khmelnitskiy Park, with plans envisaging construction of a split purpose facility featuring both traditional hotel rooms and apartment hotel services.

The arrival of a major international hotel brand like Hilton will increase the international appeal of Lviv’s vibrant tourism sector. Growing tourist flows have helped make the city’s international airport the fastest-growing regional air hub in Ukraine and put it on track to expand passenger volumes by around 40% during 2019.
